Port\u2019s industrial zone (Kizad) as its latest investor.<\/p>\n<p>The AED 130 million Musataha Agreement was signed by Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO Abu Dhabi Ports, and Mr. Zakee Siddiqi, Chairman &amp; CEO SIDDCO Group, under the patronage of H.E. Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador to the UAE, H.E Umberto Bernardo, Deputy Italian Ambassador to the UAE, and in the presence of notable guests, Mr. Stefano Pinca, Middle East Project Manager for the Italian Institute of Welding, and Mr. Marco Ferioli, Head of MENA Region for SACE, among other dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p>iNGENIUM, a subsidiary of the well-established <a href=\"http:\/\/www.siddcogroup.com\/\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"PR\" data-uw-original-href=\"http:\/\/www.siddcogroup.com\/\">SIDDCO Group<\/a>, will set-up a state of the art facility in Kizad, envisaged to generate more than a million man-hours per annum, with a fully automated production plant utilising cutting-edge Italian technology to manufacture intricate equipment in various formats and metallurgies.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the signing ceremony, H.E. Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador to the UAE congratulated SIDDCO by saying that this Musataha agreement is indeed \u201canother prominent example of what the \u2018strategic partnership\u2019 between Italy and the UAE means: the excellence of Italian machinery coupled with Abu Dhabi Ports\u2019 technologically advanced Khalifa Port and state-of-the-art industrial zone, along with SIDDCO\u2019s superb management to the mutual benefit of Italian and UAE economic and industrial growth\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The iNGENIUM site is spread over a plot covering 122,000 square meters, with direct access to Kizad\u2019s modular path, a dedicated road for moving over-sized equipment between the investors\u2019 facility and Khalifa Port, in a swift, safe, and economical manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContinuous growth in the oil and gas sector has led to the demand for companies like iNGENIUM to establish manufacturing facilities in the region.\u00a0 The supply chain efficiencies offered by Khalifa Port and its industrial zone as well as its exceptional infrastructure and transportation network will make a significant difference to iNGENIUM\u2019s business operations.\u00a0 The new facility will cater to the oil and gas industry\u2019s growth and create business opportunities and jobs in the Emirate, directly supporting the diversification of our nation\u2019s economy\u201d said Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO, Abu Dhabi Ports.<\/p>\n<p>iNGENIUM\u2019s built-up area will include a production unit, modular equipment assembly unit, a Non Destructive Test unit, an office block, a training centre, as well as a community centre to continually enhance the quality of human resources.<\/p>\n<p>Zakee Siddiqi, Chairman &amp; CEO SIDDCO Group, stated, \u201cThrough extensive use of automation in the production line and robust investment in our people and in first-class Italian machinery, iNGENIUM will deliver enhanced efficiency and reliable engineering.
