ministerial delegation visits Kizad &amp; Khalifa Port<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A high profile Kenyan delegation visited Kizad and Khalifa Port this week with a view to benefiting from the learning and experience that ADPC has accumulated in the last 5 years of planning, execution and completion of Abu Dhabi\u2019s mega-project.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation was received at Kizad by Engineer Khaled Salmeen, CEO of Kizad who gave a thorough presentation of the industrial zone, the clusters, the operations and the overall mutual benefits it shares with Khalifa Port. Engineer Salmeen then shared Kizad\u2019s corporate presentation with the delegation via a high tech media table that highlighted the size of the industrial zone as well as the master plan.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Kenyan delegation visit was to gather information and best practice that will be used in preparation plans for the establishment of a new Kenyan economic zone. Senior members of the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development of Kenya were amongst the delegation as well as several members of parliament accompanied by the Kenyan Ambassador to the UAE.<\/p>\n<p>While at Kizad, senior officials discussed the investment environment in Abu Dhabi, Kizad\u2019s strategic geographical location to local and regional markets including Africa.
