The proximity to Etihad Rail’s network, providing access to key markets such as Saudi Arabia and Oman is a strategic benefit and when functional, it will involve a greener and more economical way of transporting goods to these countries. The steel industry is energy intensive and requires extensive supply of power and energy to heat up furnaces. KEZAD’s extraordinary infrastructure with access to good sources of heat energy – both gas and electricity – has allowed Dana Steel the space and opportunity to focus on their upcoming development.
